The Process

Before / After

Preparing for your medical journey

Get ready with confidence travel documents, health checks, packing tips, and personal prep, all covered. We’ll guide you through each step to ensure a smooth, stress-free treatment experience.

Stop Smoking

Smoking slows healing and raises your risk of complications. For safer, smoother recovery, quit at least 4–6 weeks before surgery and stay smoke-free throughout your healing journey. Need help preparing? Talk to a coordinator.

Pause Contraceptive Pills

To lower your risk of blood clots, all birth control pills should be stopped at least 4 weeks before surgery. This helps support healthy circulation and a safer surgical outcome.

Limit Alcohol Intake

Alcohol can disrupt anesthesia, increase swelling, and slow healing. For a smoother procedure and recovery, avoid alcohol 1–2 weeks before surgery and stay alcohol-free during recovery.

Pause Blood Thinners & Supplements

To reduce bleeding risks, stop blood thinners, herbal teas, and certain supplements 1–2 weeks before surgery. Always check with your surgeon before making any medication changes.

Payment Guidelines

Procedures are payable in cash upon arrival. For bank transfers, send payment at least 7 days before your trip. Credit card payments include a processing fee and must be completed prior to your arrival in Turkey.
